The first human problem

And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto the man to see what he would call them; and whatsoever the man would call every living creature, that was to be the name thereof.

Giving names is art. Hard and crucial. Especially if you work in team with others. But it’s also important alone. When you return to old project. It would be shame, if it is unreadable to yourself.

There two main reasons to deliver good names:

  • definition of terminology makes communication clear

Repetition feel strange in casual speaking. But while talking about project makes different. It’s much clearer. When two persons call one thing the same. And understand that it’s this thing. There is no place for misunderstanding. It’s expensive.

  • it’s easier to find needed things in project

Finding the source of problem is half of success. It equals quick fix. And this means cheap and easy solution.
